Description

This test checks kidney function by measuring the amount of urea nitrogen is in the blood. Urea nitrogen is a waste product from protein’s breakdown in the body. Normally, it gets filtered by the kidneys and leaves the body through urine. Too much or too little urea nitrogen in the blood could indicate kidney problems.
This test can also show whether current kidney’s treatments are working and it also could indicate liver or urinary tract problems.
