Principle

H.pylori is a form of bacteria which infects the stomach lining and is a common cause of peptic ulcers. H.pylori produces large quantities of urease which protects it against the acidic conditions in the stomach, allowing it to survive. H.pylori infections have also been linked with colorectal polyps and stomach ulcer.
